for 15 years, Neil decided to retire and sought a successor he trusted to carry the
company forward. Cort, who had gone on to build several successful businesses, took

Cort Christie brings both personal experience and a long-standing belief in alternative

years of his life in Duluth, Minnesota, Cort personally experienced the effects of limited
sunlight during long northern winters. He recalls feeling lethargic, unmotivated, and
prone to overeating each winter, common symptoms associated with lack of sunlight in the winter that affect people all over the world. Those firsthand experiences
deeply inform his commitment to promoting the benefits of bright light today.
In 2009, Cort welcomed Jessica Loggins as his operating partner to lead and manage
the day-to-day operations of Alaska Northern Lights. Jessica and Cort have worked
together for over 23 years across several businesses, building a strong partnership
rooted in shared values and a commitment to helping others improve their quality of
life. Jessica is passionate about customer care, operational excellence, and supporting
the company’s mission of improving lives through bright light. She plays a vital role in
ensuring continued growth while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
