“ This is probably the best "bright light therapy" box out there as it is 100% led, no UV light, low power usage, does not get hot (only warm in my experience). In addition, it does have 10,000 lux a full 30 inches from the unit as I tested it with a light measurement app for the iPhone, which seemed to be fairly accurate. The full size Aurora light pad does have a wide field of light so you don't have to keep your head in exactly one place to receive the full 10,000 lux. I use it every morning for ~30-40 min while having a cup of coffee and reading the news and it really does help me feel tired much earlier at night and get up earlier!"

“ AMAZING PRODUCT! Utah has such gloomy winters with the inversion I needed something to help replenish my energy levels. I was skeptical at first not knowing what to expect but within the first few days I noticed a difference in my energy levels and not feeling as depressed. Having used it now for weeks it seems to be working better each day. I will say though this thing is VERY BRIGHT, at first it caught me off guard but you get used to it. I would highly recommend this product to anyone that feels a lack of energy or season depression. Rather than sit around feeling like it just is what it is, I'd say take a chance on the lightpad. I felt very comfortable ordering it off Amazon as well, knowing if it didn't work I had Amazons amazing return policy I could use..... needless to say this things not getting returned!"

“ Amazing effectiveness in helping SAD symptoms. Michigan winters are rough. Not enough sunlight, makes you want to stay in bed all day. As a student in professional school I spend a lot of time studying. I keep my lamp on while studying. It makes everything better! Get this lamp ASAP."

“ I am very satisfied with my phototherapy so far. I have been using it daily for several months now and I just love it! It's how I start my day while I read my newspaper. I feel uplifted after each use and am getting through the winter so far without depression. I highly recommending using this for SAD symptoms. "

“ I was surprised at how easy it was to use the Aurora LightPad. It's small and compact, making it easy for me to use anywhere in my house, and I couldn't believe how bright it was. It is a great alternative when there isn't sunshine."

“ The first thing that drew me to the Aurora LightPad was the size of the light. As you can see, it is perfect to set up on my side table, and makes it easier to read…or play a little sudoku. For such a small light, it emits a lot of light, which makes it easier when I'm using the Aurora LightPad in the morning. I would definitely recommend buying one!"

“ I bought the lightpad to help with my winter blues. We had a long and dark winter and I was ready to try anything to make a positive impact. A few points I liked about it: It's small and easy to move around. I like the easy buttons on front, which adjusts the brightness. I also liked how it had an attached, adjustable stand. Great product."

“ I recommend both the NorthStar 10,000™ and the Aurora LightPad™ for all my patients that suffer from Seasonal Depression and Seasonal Affective Disorder. I am a true believer in bright light therapy and have numerous patients benefits from this treatment. It is a natural and safe treatment that is incredibly effective."

“ I'm a psychiatric nurse in a busy county mental health clinic in Central Pennsylvania. I have one of your light boxes in my office. It is great for me and it also gives me an opportunity to teach patients and their families about SAD. The psychiatrist with whom I work used to come to my office for his "light treatment." He finally brought one of his own. He has a variety of light boxes all over but calls mine the 'Cadillac of Light Boxes'"

“ Gentlemen: I just wanted to write you a quick note and let you know of my appreciation that you do not use so called full spectrum lamps in your product, and that I will let others know of your product. So many of your competitors not only use Vita-Lite type lamps but repeat the claimed health benefits of the UV fluorescent light they produce. Many have claimed that "full-spectrum" lamps are necessary for the treatment of SAD. Your web page is quite clear and informative and it is refreshing to see that someone is being honest in their product literature and are truly trying to treat SAD sufferers."
