Neil decided to “retire” and through a series of non-coincidental events and mutual family friends, I was fortunate to step into his shoes and take over Alaska Northern Lights on February 1, 2008. (We are both originally from northern Minnesota, he grew up in Hermantown, and I grew up in Duluth.)

My background is in health education and alternative/holistic health practices with a master’s degree in nutrition (as well as having a law degree), but my passion is for healing the body and mind naturally, whenever possible. What impresses me most about Bright Light Therapy is that is safe, natural, and allows many people to reduce or completely eliminate use of anti-depressants and other medications (take a look at the testimonials!).

We support a variety of local and national non-profit groups. It’s our way of passing on what we’ve received. We also support a healthy environment and a healthy drug free world.
